Moosehead is Canada’s oldest independent brewery, with a history that spans more than 140 years. When Susannah Oland brewed the first Oland beer in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia back in 1867, she inspired a great brewing tradition of excellence and innovation. Indeed Susannah and her husband John started their own brewery and their sons eventually moved the growing operation to Saint John, New Brunswick. That began an age of Oland family brewing in New Brunswick that continues to this day, under the keen eye of current Chairman Derek Oland. Derek’s sons Andrew and Patrick represent the sixth generation of Oland family leadership, as President and Controller, respectively of Moosehead Breweries Ltd. Today the family legacy lives on in Canada’s finest beers. Brewed with a century old commitment to quality, Moosehead products are unrivalled for their distinctive flavour and individuality. Prepared with skill and brewed with expertise, each Moosehead brand reflects the subtle art of brewing.
